While Kenya grapples over the best way forward regarding the Mau forest, an island to its South East is blazing a trail along that path. The comparatively tiny island of Mauritius has gone green in a big way, sowing the seed of tomorrows forests despite the huge demands on its limited land resources.

Our greed and stupidity will lead to or extermination!!! At 1.8% forest cover, we should put science and not politics and tribe in our forests management and increment.

I think in the next election we should just vote in Indians and Wazungu, from 2012-2017,I think we can recover a lot.Indians are not interested in land, unless it makes money.Mauritius is a middle income country, with nearly 50% Wahindi, yet other black ruled countries bigger and with massive resorces can not kujisupport.Coming to think of it,why are the Comoros poorer than Seychelles and Mauritius despite being in the same area?I think how people are brought up in different cultures matters
