I had a great time playing Smollett! I also played Billy Bones in the begining. Are you doing the James DeVita script?

Captain Smollet does an admirable (admiral?) job in the role. The actor playing Silver is too young for the role and doesn't project the manner of a salty sea dog.

Thanks for the comment! I had great time playing Captain Smollet.
I understand what you are saying about Silver's lack of brackishness in this scene. I think he was trying to play some ironic level of gentlemanly manner as this takes place after Silver has taken command of the ship.
I am going to go back and look at some other scenes. There may some more salt to find in this portrayal of Long John Silver. Sorry about the sound sync problems.
