i wanna get into comics and id like to start with x-23 but im not really sure where to start or were to get the comics can someone help?

If you want to start with X-23, start with reading the compilation "X-23: Innocence Lost". That's her origin story. You could probably find it online at Amazon or Barnes&Noble

NYX and innocence lost are awesome, target X is not, its slow and it pretends to seek more in Laura's past. Its good the relationship they establish with the Kinney family, but the character Kimura its stupid, pointless, forced into the story (she wasnt even mentioned in innocence lost) and come on, if you have someone who cant be affected by adamantium (strongest metal in marvel universe, it can even hurt hulk) why didnt turned her into weapon X, and not into some stupid babysitter for Laura.

They have similiarities, maybe, but they aren't the same.

Personally, i loved target X and the kimura character... shes sadic, crazy woman... obssesed in destroying Laura's life. Really loved her reappearance in X force, shes like a nightmare to X.

what i really dont like is how the X23 main comics is walking right now... demons? Cmon! Putz Kimura back again at some point with Laura killing her for good.

@XxTaylorRowlettxX I'm 23 and I just started reading like a year ago. Now I'm totally into Marvel. For some reason I cant really get into DC but Marvel has enough releases each week that it doesn't matter. I don't know if you have ever used torrents but that's how I started. Scanners post pretty much ever comic released each week on Demonoid. That was you can see what your into and once you know what you like you can start buying them.

@Hematemesis No not at all. Have nothing to do with Marvel... i'm simply trying to find good reason to it... If i was i would be more aware of Luke Cage power, i never have read him

@Talvrae Luke Cage's skin is stronger than titanium, but stronger than adamantium??? not, besides they couldnt reproduce the effect after experimenting on him. Good point though, interesting reference, arent you one of the writers of the book trying to defend your work??? ahahaha

The Facility 'designed' Kimura's powers. She didn't receive them the same way Luke Cage did his. Also, Luke Cage can be injured by adamantium (although he seems to be impervious to just about everything else), Kimura appears to be impervious to.. everything. So yeah I would agree that it is absurd they juts used her as a glorified babysitter... Kimura's whole character is such an obvious plot device.

@Hematemesis say it if i'm mistaken.... but Kimura power seem to me to be about the same that Luke Cage... So probably the same way he got his power...
