The Road to Gumption was a motorcycle road trip that spanned ten days, 2941 miles and eleven states. The fourth By Way of Motorcycle video was the first BWOM ridden solo. Plagued with numerous electrical issues, the movie takes a detour from being a fun road trip to a personal quest and simply trying to get home. This was my trip to the incredible Barbers Museum in Birmingham Alabama

  • This is great, Billy! I love the camera work. And the Britten... the Britten...(sigh!)..is ANYONE worthy to be in that bike's presence? It is just.....actually, words fail me. Thanks for your bit on that bike. I've seen some video on it but I like yours best. I can't wait to see one in the flesh. Thanks, from cold and gloomy England!

  • Thank you so much for the kind words, I've been blessed enough to see two Brittens in person and each time i was incredibly impressed by his vision

  • sweet place to be in. man all 6 vids so far have been great

  • That museum is something else...Thanks for the kind words

  • The Britten bike looks amazing! So many bikes there, i even saw a vespa :-D haha, i'd love to go there.

  • That would've been a great vlog!

  • If the power went out when you were in the elevator, you might have gotten the chance to stay there!

  • You have to before ya die...it's a motorcycle Mecca!

  • Naw, that thing is too flimsy for anything more than just a point n shoot..plus my arm would give up way before then...I have a wide angle lens on my camera and just hold it at arms length..it takes a bit of practice, but it works for me..

  • when you do the self shots in this vid and your other travels vids, are you using that telescopic pole that you show in your "how to pack for a long ride" video series?
