Most blacks will dismiss being called "dumb", but never a "nigger". Being called a nigger from a black man (even 2 b offensive) does not cause as much anger than being called nigger from any other race-especially white.
And then 2 show a murder? Look who's holding the gun-2 white cops-as if they've done society a service.

There are other other cartoons from the same cartoonist but no body is complaining about that because they are not crossing the line. This cartoon is clearly calling people to assassinate Obama.

the cartoon is rasist because comparing a white man to a monkey is saying he is dumb. comparing a black man is calling him a nigger. for hundreds of years, african americans have been called monkeys. that is why it is offensive. now if the cartoonist called him a dodo or something like that, it would be fine. blacks should not be compared to monkeys. EVER.

Asking a question about your background is not racist...I am trying to understand who you are, so we can communicate. I am glad that you know Mr. Delonas personally, because I believe that does qualify you to say whether he is or isnt racist...however, what he "implied" was racist...do you think I would put this energy out for nothing? I have better things to do than fight imaginary stuff...thousands of black people were hurt, disappointed and angered. I am one. Your uncle should say "sorry".

Wow, now whose racist? I'm not African-American I'm European but that doesn't mean that I don't know anything. I happen to be the artist's niece. This whole thing is completely ridiculous, my uncle didn't imply anything about Obama. It was a shitty cartoon he drew when he was out of ideas so he linked two news stories together and now people are threatening his life and his son's. I'm sure 19 years of knowing this man would tell me enough about him to know if he was racist or not.
