The Bladen Nature Reserve, Columbia River Forest Reserve and the buffering communities of Columbia, San Miguel, Big Falls and the Marine Ecosystem is threatened by the continuation of a proposed dam on the Central River. This hydro plant is a form of development however its impacts will be far greater on the environment and the people of Toledo and beyond than creating temporary jobs for villagers.
in this day and age.. of technology... hydro elect. damns are obsolete... come on dean barrow.... bring bz into the modern world ....for goodnes sakes.... wind porer... tidal power...so many simple non-distructive methods these day....the world can see how the gob's of bz seeminly care for dollars instead of bz's nature..the future of bz's reputatiojn... will be of a world class bad...if this sort of neglect and greed continues

If you want to get to the truth about something, listen to the people. The people talk using this platform because nobody can get in the way to shut them up! And the people making the films here have nothing to loose if they speak the truth.
We all are seeing the result of Chalillo dam on the Macal river.

get your facts strait...this project doesn't affect water level..its a run of the river project...dont quit your day job...leave the film making to film makers....youtube is a platform for amateurs..if you aren't good enough to be a tv producer, then we will assume you aren't worth listening to....

Great job getting the affected community involved to fight against the capitalist pigs who care more about money than their own people!
