Evgenia is the all time ballerina every girl should dream to be, because she doesn't only shows perfect lines and precise footwork (and she has both)but too it shows how to enjoy dancing and how to be the character itself, she's pure artistry.
She's one of my most beloved ballerinas because of her charm.
Love her!!!

Someone else noticed this. This is one of Lise's solos from Fille. ABT put together a gpdd years ago featuring this as the girl's variation. I don't think it appears in Ashton's version, though. And ditto one everthing anyone has said here. Every part of her body tells a story

I am about to get slammed but hasn't anyone noticed that the people who film the ballet have to understand it to film it or the rest of us can't stand it.
Take the recent movie Black Swan. Lots of 'drama" and lots of sick people but not much dancing.

Shame on the person who filmed this. Zooming in on her face then her feet not allowing us the pleasure of watching her whole body dance.

I just saw her as kitri last saterday, 1/17/09. shes just a great all around dancer. not the fastest spins though. but it didnt matter :)

She dances Kitri?
I prefere her in lyric repertoire as Juliet, Giselle, Ondine...
