  • Romans 9:18 So then He has mercy on whom He desires, and He hardens whom He desires.

  • 2 If we can only do good when God causes us to do good, then why would God not have Moses do good but then get mad at him for not doing good? Did God just want a reason to be angry or something? It certainly seems to me that Moses was either too scared or doubted and wouldn't do what God said so God, who already knew this would happen, choose Aaron to do this because Moses wouldn't follow the plan, not because He caused Moses not to follow the plan.

  • I'm still on the fence as to Calvinism, because I think for the most part it presents a very tidy defense to the bible. Although I think in many cases it is just another box that humans try to put God into.

What I wonder is, speaking of Moses, how does when God tells Moses to go to the Israelites and tell them "I am has sent me to you" and to do the sign to show them that God sent him, he is able to say "O Lord, please send someone else to do it" and God gets angry and has Aaron do it instead?
