Total Eclipse July 22nd, 2009 at Kiribati, Abaiang atoll, Ouba Islet

This movie was recorded at Ouba Islet in Abaiang atoll that part of Kiribati in Pacific ocean. Coordination was N01°51′28.1″, E172°53′09.1 ″according to my Garmin Oregon300.
As you can see the movie, thin cloud covered all over the sky, therefore we could not see the shadow on ground. However the movie recorded the shadow on the cloud. The cloud acted like a screen showing the shadow. That was totally new for us.
太平洋の赤道近くに浮かぶ、キリバスAbaiang環礁のOubaでの皆既日食観望風景です。
ツアーの事前準備不足で目的のブタリタリには行けず、タラワからつり船で約２時間半のOuba島からの観望となりました。うす雲が出ていましたが、おかげで月の影が雲の上­を移動していく様子が映っています。皆既帯の端からわずか10km程度しか離れていないため、画面の左（南西）は皆既中でも常に明るく見えています。
