"Clair de Lune" by Debussy (Flute)

I began playing flute in November 2006. This recording was done in May 2007.

I'll mention that I'm not too fond of the arrangement I have... it's too fast/rushed.

I'm listening to this with my Gramma on the phone. She loves the piano peice for this. I'm going to play her thins for her birthday on my flute when she comes to Texas from Michigan. Can't wait!!!!!

I practically ditched the entire 8th grade to listen to my dad the physics prof take his between class break keep his classical chops up on his Steinway every morning. This was the song. I play this on my boombox at his gravesite. Not to sound morose, but you brought a tear to my eye. And you'd played for how long??? Amazing!!!

i have to say that claire del lune is extremely difficult for the flute .. so congratulations .. i was studying flute for 7 years and i had to quit to study for school and u made me realize how much i miss my flute .. ! excellent performance i really really like it ... WELL DONE

Flute playing is always hard with braces. I have had a few friends who've played flute and clarinet with braces and they've all adjusted. You'll be playing like a pro in no time!

@BabyDolphinGirl it might be a little harder for you to play but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try, and you can get braces if it's very extreme. but i have a flute palying friend who's teeth are like that

Very fine flute playing for only starting in 2006. I'm doing a Sibelius (music software) version of this right now, which I'll post in a couple of days - along with the piano playalong, and sheetmusic.
