Pax Gaming's Video Guide of the Belsavis World Boss, The Primal Destroyer in Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Hi I'm Amoo of Pax Dominus and I'd like to welcome you to Pax Gaming's video guide of the Belsavis World Boss, The Primal Destroyer. Our setup for this fight was 3 tanks, 3 healers and 3 DPS, because those were the level 50's that we could find to make this happen.

Killing the boss himself is pretty straight forward, the only thing complicated at all about this encounter is the adds. As you can see, towards the beginning of the fight this boss spawns a few adds. We were told that if these adds were killed the boss would enrage. We decided not to test that theory and find out for ourselves, so we just off tanked the adds.

We start out with our main tank and all of our DPS on the boss. When the adds spawn, our two off-tanks go to pick them up. We had 1 healer assigned to the main tank, 1 to whichever off-tank was currently tanking the adds, and 1 floating between the main tank and the add tank.

One of the adds will actually place a stacking debuff on whoever is tanking it. This debuff simply reduces armor per stack. We found we could let this debuff get up to around 10 stacks before we called for a tank swap. A simple AOE taunt followed by a single target taunt on Mr Destroyer here, by the main tank, and it's simply burn until he goes down.
There's really not much else to this fight.

Dont care so much about the fight as much as I care for the fact that this video confirms where the Magenta Crystal schematic comes from if you pay attention to the drops much easier to see drops in full screen mode I just need to get a group to take him down so I can get the schematic and start making the crystals for people

Belsavis is levels 47-50, and the planet after that is Ilum, which is a PVP world and has no world boss. So is this basically the hardest thing to kill in the entire game?

this game looks soo fun and fresh, i hear the ui and character control is clunky
