Renowned urban planner Fred Kent and his partner Kathy Madden of Project for Public Spaces give a virtual tour of their favorite waterfronts around the world. Kent and Madden selected these sites both for their beauty and their ability to attract diverse crowds that create vibrant public spaces. I think most Architects loose sense of the difference between "public space" and "artistic merit". The biggest thing is NOT to attack Architects or even planners, but the owners/investors that need to be educated
