@thebroodhn NO because we were born with an evolved brain and hands with four fingers and a thumb and the ability to make weapons that can kill a whale for food.
@POTSkyline What is it about Vegans that they have to go all immature and start silly personal attacks. By the way, you must be into necrophilia there friend, my mother is dead. Although your still out of luck, she was cremated. So I guess you need to find some other meat eater that has a parent or sibling that has been buried to satisfy your fetish.
Do meat eaters go around telling YOU what you can and cant eat? No we dont, so why not just stay in your own lane.
@POTSkyline LOL Then you are talking about most of mankind, since most of us all eat meat in one fashion or another.
When you eat a steak, a cow died to give you that cut of meat. They are not endangered and we eat them. So your outrage and your argument are actually quite idiotic.
The decent people of the world are standing against whaling, and their numbers are growing. The Sea Shepherds are doing as THOSE people wish! Sign the petition against the Faroe Island slaughter.
Even at the very least, it will prove how many people want this killing to end, and show that the Faroe people are spitefully against world majority

@gobeavers135246 LOL You are so wrong, subsistence whaling IS allowed. Both the Faroese and the Eskimos of Alaska do subsistence hunting. The FAroese do not hunt the whales for commercial profit, the whale meat is given out FREELY to the population!
If you are so adamant about killing, then start in your own country and go picket a McDonalds for using slaughtered cows as a food source.
@susumu07 Late in the 20th century as a food source.
Again, I believe wholeheartedly that we should protect all endangered wildlife, and see that they increase their numbers, but like controlled logging these days, which is very healthy for forests, if the whaling can be done in an sustainable manner that protects the species, if their are some people who want to eat the meat for food, I dont see it as any worse then those of us who enjoy our steaks.
@susumu07 Norway hunts them as well, mainly because there is something about Minke whales that they do not get a lot of Mercury in their systems. Like the Pilot Whale, there are about 1 million of them in the seas. During the heyday of whaling Minke whales were pretty much left alone by whalers, they are smaller baleen whales and do not have the oil content of other more prized whales back in the day. They only came to the spotlight when Japan, Iceland, and Norway started hunting them.....
@hitmann2300 Yes, we have evolved brains to make bombs to kill civilians in WWII, but that doesn't make it right.

If "god" wanted us to eat whales, don't you think we would be born with jaws, fins, gills and the ability to swim?

@susumu07 People about the reasons why we need to be careful with the lives of these animals, without resorting to being assholes about it.

And I feel there are better ways to educate
