Hong Kong director Jingle Ma held a grand premiere for his new movie, Mulan, in Beijing on November 16, 2009. Vitas participated in the shooting of film "Mulan" as a guest star.
The premiere took the form of a concert at the Beijing Workers' Stadium, with Vitas invited to sing along with the other stars of the movie. He performed two of his most widely-known songs - Opera #2 and Bird of Happiness (in duet with a fan).

Vitas as a singer and songwriter has been known on Russian stage since 2000 and released here 9 CDs.
Today Vitas is an artist who has gained popularity outside of Russia as well. This fact is confirmed by his unprecedented tours across the South-Asian region that were held in 2007, 2008 and 2009. His performances took place in the most prestigious and greatest halls.
