On June 26, 2008, David Addington, Dick Cheney's favorite office lawyer, offered a bellicose, and simply flawed set of answers about the power of the vice president, and the president.
He ignored Article II, Section 3 completely -- it must be read WITH the first sentence of Article II, Section 1. Addington intentionally chooses NOT to do so. He simply parrots the old "Tricky Dick" Nixon talking points (typos corrected in Chyron) -- "when the President does it, it is not against the law."
Remember that Dick Cheney learned all of this a whole generation ago, working back then, in Nixon's White House.
That sure turned out well, no?

What are we to do? There're so many people who give themselves over to others like Bush and Cheney without knowing, nor caring to know, what a document created to protect them from such people, really says. It cuts into their bar time. Bullet headed Red-necks. Palinites! This is the failure of their parents who, do to a limited gene pool on the mountain, can not formulate a constructive thought. How can anyone raise a cognitive being when that being is fed a diet of stupid and Republican.
