looks cool, up to what thickness does the magnet work through? gotta say tho, in 3 years of drywalling i've never once cut my self and i use a razer sharp tajima knife to cut mine!
I have one. It doesn't do a nice job, and no... You can't do what he did in teh vid with it leaning on it's side. I don't know how they set that shot up, but it's a pain. It's a good gimmick tool, but it makes a mess on the end of the cut.
I have this tool. In fact it was sent to me to write a review....problem is the review wasn't positive so never came to be. Neat design and cool video but I can't immagine most pros getting much use out of it. Cutt of ends are a nightmare...not doable. So that just leaves rips which works ok off a full sheet but theres too much force from the tool to cut say a 4 inch rip off an allready cut down sheet unless a line is drawn first and then the sheet held down with one hand, but then why bother.
Funny how you are telling someone else to rewatch the video, when you didn't watch the whole thing yourself. Or else you would see that your complaint is addressed in the video and is completely unwarranted.
You must not have watched the whole video. You don't have to have the dry-wall on horses (tressels as you call them) you can cut it leaning on the wall. Why do some people always tried to find a problem with new technology. If you would be more open minded you could use a major time saving tool.
also the guy in the add is moving fast when cutting with the runner... brilliant vid for you suckers that will be suck in by it. lol. brilliant!! read what i've posted up there
