Prelude to love.
Inspired by Bjork all is for love and Vanilla sky / Open your eyes.
With this project I have chosen to use a rose as a metaphoric object, a rose is a very powerful object, it conveys many meanings as a metaphor, it congers up feelings of Love, Life, Death, and friendships and also conveys cultural meaning in English society. The colours are also symbolic, and represent similar meanings; the metaphoric meaning behind this object has inspired me to produce this project. As an artist I believe I should be observant with the rest of world, human nature, feelings and emotions, all these can be observed and can be used to influence and give meaning to my projects, in this project I have chosen to base it on the human emotion of Love.
