Just recently Todd Wellemeyer was diagnosed with right elbow inflammation. The 24 year old has given up 7 earned runs in 11 innings pitched on the season. Matsuzaka is scheduled to pitch here after a rehab start in triple A last Monday. The Red Sox right-hander was stricken with shoulder problems that required stint on the DL. Matsuzaka sits with an ERA of 2.53 on the season and is a perfect 8-0 on the season and reported no discomfort after his rehab start. Tough spot here for the young pitcher Boggs against a good hitting Boston Red Sox team in Fenway Park. I expect some runs from Red Sox here and the Cardinals bats have sputtered. Play the Red Sox on the runline giving up -- 1 ½ runs at --110.
