i think you already have a wifi signal in ur area without doing this trick, that because it's "working". But i don't have a wifi signal and with this method i don't get any new one...

Screw the salad bowl, it works better with a toilet bowl, prepare lots of aluminum foil and sanitizer.

How does that work... You plug into ethernet then it would come up as a LAN and not a WLAN. Its funny but waste of time to do so.

I tried it. It does work. But you don't even need the cell phone. Just plug an ethernet cable in and move the other end around the room until you get a stronger signal. It's like a makeshift antenna. It only slightly improved my signal, wrapping around the cell phone only made it worse because the chord was shorter.

this is never gonna work...
The signal strength is something in ur router not in ur pc.
and ethernet is a complete different protecoil than wireless.
