"Americans" hmmm, foreigners came from Europe to find their own liberty. At the expense of my own people and family, they have stolen our land, killed us by the thousands, when we fought back, they labeled US as villians, finally they shut us off to 'reservation' on the poorest land they could find ( only to take it back again when they found a use or resourse for it)

The only real 'Americans' are the Native Peoples, the rest are United States Citizens...there is a difference...

@opajohann Cousin, you father and grandfathers fought alongside mine to make this country, be a part of it. leave the reservation and make a life for yourself. i grew up in Arizona in the Papago tribe, I left the res as soon as I could enlist and get the hell out.. there is no reason and no law that keeps you or anyone there. learn the rules to the new game and learn to play and succeed. it isnt about what was done, it's about what YOU will do.

I too am First Nation but I do not blame the US for the past for I have learned to play the game, but every time the US promises someone something, there is that little voice saying, "they are at it again"

Torocaca, Dj.... We Americans are a special breed, descended from risk taking Euros, who wanted something better and did what it took to GET it. We stole our land from the Indians? Sure we did, because they couldn't stand up to either our superior weapons or our expansionist hunger. If they had been, they'd have kicked us back to dead old England. Thank God and The Founding Fathers that they couldn't. If they had, the whole world would have been the poorer.
