@BJJisAOK Pay very close attention to the blade of his wrist.

@b7r7u7c7e It works like a modified bicep slicer. It will only work well if done fast, but the problem with doing it fast is that it can injure before giving the other guy the chance to tap, so it's not recommended to pull this off in training without being slow and careful with it

Lol this would work on a white belt bjj...maybe. I was teaching a yellow belt class last week on when your in this position wrap your hands around the guys waist and intill you sweep maintain wrist control. But sure if someone has there arm out like this you might be able to pull this off. Your better off going for a Kimura,Americana,or wedge choke.

That's a good move. I'll give it a try the next time I'm on the mat.

@Uberboy07 Train both arts, as I do, and it's very hard to motivate yourself to do jits after you know how effective catch is.
-
@BJJisAOK this is a compression lock, its aimed at the biceps and muscles of the forearms, its not about twisting the guys arm,its about tightening the blade of your forearm against his to crush his muscles

Yup, he's getting mounted alright :D

Jiu Jitsu guys will give you this everytime if you mount/saddle them, white-purple belts they are taught in Gi to have the hands up near the neck to prevent chokes. Great one.

wow man i thought jujitsu techniques were fast. o.o
he just called that position the saddle wow

That's what it's called. Other arts call it the mount, but in wrestling it's called the saddle.
