  • What kind of mallets did you use for this piece? I just love the sound!

  • @cadynow Oh man, this was ages ago. I believe I was using some fuchsia balters, at the time. I'm sure they don't make them anymore or that they've changed how they're produced....

  • I'm sorry, I am not very familiar with this piece of music. Is this all of it or is there more movements? thanks.

  • It's just a short piece originally written for violin. I believe it was part of a set Kreisler wrote sometime ago. I've heard it's rare to find the music though.

  • hehe, i chose your playing for a juggling preformance!

  • Very cool! I never would have thought this music would have fit for something like that. Thanks for telling me!

  • @Hollyheart175 on the audition repertoire list it says Tambourin Chinois (beginning to downbeat of m. 31) . i tried to post the link to the pdf of the list but it wont let me. ill try on your profile.

  • @jomloft1 dude same here, I'm in district 7 too but I'm a mallet player...how do you know that it's only the first 31 measures? I didn't know anything about that, I thought we had to learn the whole piece...

  • Shit, the first 31 measures are what I have to get into Pennsylvania district 7 band, and I'm a more non-pitched percussionist

  • This piece shows missed notes like high beams. Slow it down. Listen to fritz play it and also pearlman. Speed is cool and green did it but the middle is true 1920's romantic and it needs to be stretched and hammed up to the point of vomit! Save the showmanship for the cadenzas and the end!

  • Is it G. H. Green's version of this piece?

  • Great job!

  • @fuzzlefluff I'll see you there. I said the same thing when I ordered this piece.

  • Dear god.

    D'=

I have to play THIS in order to get into New Jersey's Allstate?

    Son of a...

  • Very good interpretation, I will be playing this song very soon for contest
