Songs: Polk Salad Annie (Fantastic version 5, complete minutes long)
Introductions Johnny Be Good (James Burton plays guitar in the back of his head) Love Letters Hail Hail RocknRoll Fever

In the last days of 1976 Elvis Presley started a 5 days tour from 27 to 31 of December.
It began in Wichita, Ks (27), Dallas, Tx (28), Birmingham, Al (29), Atlanta (Ge) (30) and ended in Pittsburgh (Pa), for a new years eve concert!

Now, over 30 years passed those concerts are mythical!

Not only those were, by far, Elvis best tour from 1976, but those concerts showed the King in a Top From, and are ranked among his best 25 concerts from 1971 to 1977.

The New Years Eve Concert was absolutely Outstanding (much better than the Pontiac New Years Eve concert from 1975/1976 that was a very good show).
Elvis was on Stage for almost 90 minutes, with a stage presence that everybody thought he had lost, made fantastic versions, with a voice that was better than ever!

You cant really tell a highlight from this show, but the 1977 part is, for sure, among Elvis best Stage presences from the seventies! Trying to get to you, Polk Salad Annie, Jailhouse Rock (yes!), Reconsider Baby, Rags to Riches or Unchained Melody are unique, breathtaking, FANTASTIC! And Hurt is a show toper that explain why Elvis Presley is The King of Rock and Roll!
And in the end, like he had done the previous night in Atlanta, Elvis give us a karate demo tho bring the house down!

Ladies and Gentlemen, sit back and enjoy one moment in Rock History: The King Live on Stage in Pittsburgh (Pa), for a new years eve concert, 1976/9177.

Ill upload near 42 minutes of that concert, in 5 parts, with good image, nice edit and sound, and some fantastic close up shots!

Youll be able to see The King On Stage like you never thought it would be possible in 1976/1977.

  • I am 43 years old and an Elvis fan since i was 6. There is no one and i mean NO ONE alive or dead who comes anywhere near to being as great as Elvis. I never get tired of seeing Elvis walk onto the stage and seeing thousands of flashbulbs popping. This is a great version of Polk Salad Annie, one of my favourite versions that Elvis did. Elvis is the world record holder in everything he did, no one else is even close. Elvis was the greatest entertainer that ever lived and NO ONE comes close.

  • Elvis the king forever.

  • Absolutely love it!!!!!

  • @DaI agree with you on gender and grade, the only way to show another resurrect Elvis is so, like never ENM alive nor dead, already had spent thirty-four years and is still present in our lives, this must be the Kingvewise1965

  • @deannamarie29 i like that ,

  • Meu Deus! Ele canta enquanto chora e chora enquanto canta. Te amo! Obrigada, Galoport.

  • i think elvis was an experiment . God wanted to see what would happen if he gave one man the best looks humanly possible. the best voice humanly possible. and absolutely the coolest moves on earth. the result was Elvis !! no one has ever nor ever will even come close to the king !

  • i wish it wasnt so scratched up and jumpy. icant listen. thanks just the same though.

  • I believe his Colon problems were much improved around this time and this tour and the Vegas season that preceded it were vastly improved over the rest of his efforts that year. After this show Elvis had a few weeks off and came back on tour in Feb of 77 looking hugely heavy and not moving well at all. I think this show was the last we saw of the real Elvis.

  • If this is like country music style.... if he was alive today and did these songs... would you consider him as country music instead of rock and roll? because his songs there 80% sounded all country music considering yet it was the late 70s... late 70s a modem era.. and yet close to the 80s

  • he seems so much more healthy here than he does in the '77 concerts only months later. Could it be that he's extra thrilled about it being a new years-concert and gives it all or did his health fall even more dramatically in '77 than previous 2-3 years?

    Thanks for sharing, Galo!
