Jews and Muslims are NOT ALOWED to pray in a church but a Jew can pray in a masjid.1 of the reasons of this is because of the idle worship in a church. One more THING I want to say to the brothers and sisters of islam. I hope you make salam with allah. And peace be apon u all. :)

I'm sorry brother. I was wrong. He didn't pray in a church but beside it because there were many pictures and was not a place for muslim prayer. But some Muslim scholars said it's ok to pray in a church if (needed ONLY) and there should be no pictures or idols and the muslim shouldn't face them When he prays.

@DrAbdulmohsen Why did he (Omar RA) do that. I've heard that Muslims are not allowed. Same with the Jews they are not allowed to pray at a Church (trinity), but they are allowed to pray in a Masjid. Because we are pure of idolatry.

Saying Azhan at a Christian Church has nothing to do being haram.... Each of us ar responsible to spread the Light (Din), the words of our Holy Prophet to others. The world is so unstable now with wars. Its time for Muslims, Christians and all other religions to stand together shoulder to shoulder and pray for forgiveness from Allah
