Battle of Olympus is way better :p

I like this game despite that it's a difficult game to play. For starters, the Thunderbird is very difficult to defeat. The only two things that I dislike about this game is that they don't have hearts appearing randomly from enemies like in the first one and there's no map so at times, you might get lost on some of the difficult levels. But I digress though. It is a good game nevertheless!

This game may be slightly different from the one before it but I consider it one of the greatest NES games of all time. Got me through some hard times in childhood, so I guess that is why I like it so much.

@ValisHD It's tough I didn't finish it for the first time until 2001.

@10forRP This game set the stage for all the 3d zelda's and introduced magic.

@MushroomBoy64 Because he's saving his hearts for another attribute. I level up life and attack before magic.

I've never been a huge fan of this particular Zelda game... it just had such a different feel with the side-scrolling view. The whole game looks like it was made by a entirely different group of developers when you compare it to the first Zelda, and Link to the Past.

This game was the precursor of GTA.
In this game hookers can replenish your health, but you don't have to pay anything, ha!

i counted 84 attacks on the skull

Basically when you close to finishing the palace look at your points,
for example in palace 1. he should have skipped the life and magic upgrade, wich would have given him the option to get attack for 1000 points.
When you have that option, just kill the palace boss and, voila, free 1000 point attack upgrade. And so on.

Question: Why do you say "cancel" sometimes when you level up? I don't get that.
BTW, I didn't know those floating skulls were destructable.
