At the end of the day, the decision is entirely personal, however the build and lastability and pure abusive nature you can lay down on the CS, well... the Recon Tanto wins each time.

Tell your friend to use bicycle tyre tube.. just take a peice and slip it on to hold the blade in place

To snowlobo fir retention I have a dog tsunami and I moved the vel cro down to the hilt so it can have no exposure.
