Different, i'll give it 10/10 points on that. But you wouldn't use more then 20% of it? I mean if you did you would be constantly changing the volume during a movie unless you're already deaf.
I only use 3000 watts RMS in a 6x3 meter room. I barely go over 30% on mine.
Firearms behind the door are abit worrying through :P.. Only as i work a second job as a weapons instructor. Over here in aus a man would loose his firearms even with the excuse "I was in the house" lol

Also i have never heard p.a i liked other than when im pissed at a gig. so you can quote figures at me all day my system is too loud for my room as is. When i move im getting Wilsons all round...with mark levinson mono blocks. I dont know what 100k system you listened to but you should hear John Jeffries at sounds of music he designed my spks and it will match yours for brutal clarity and kill it in every other area.

come on p.a always has more brutal power than hi fi. but i like subtlety and acurate bass. not to blasted by a deafening wall of colored sound. horns always exagerate upper midrange they shout. my speakers have lots of drivers but everything gels together as the reviewer in hifi news will testify. i also doubt the designer is called bob carver a legend in audio design..my drive units are eaton and visaton was 18 k not 100k so not a fair comparison??

nice. sub sounds powerfull
why P.A in such a small room??? i hope you were forced to put huge speakers in a small room as i was. P.A. are hard colored and loud i would rather stick pins in my ears than have to listen to those dust bins. Go to my vid if you want to see real hifi.

Simple, we were playing.
What is usually referred to as hi fi is shit, we have a horn loaded touring rig which is flat response from 20hz upto way beyond the audiable spectrum at over 110dB/1W. the person that built the "bins" has run UPV on hifi gear costing upto £100k & the sound reproduction was piss poor. You are combining too many wavefronts from the speakers you are using, the folded horn bins and properly ported kit we are using there would leave yours for dead on clarity & brutal power

Eh "Nutterfest" ha ha,has to be without doubt the wankiest attempt at a home cinema i have ever seen.with the amount of power on offer there testing via the tone facility wont matter an iota as you will be blown out of the window, coincidently is where the speakers should be heading btw.

Oh look, another youtube nobhead gets his awl in. we have done home cinema in this manner for many years and it would appear that you havent, for refrence: the test tone is handy for checking that everything is routed correctly which is precisley what it was doing.
and next time everyone piles into the home cinema weekend, ill tell them that you said its wank and as we are professional audio engineers im sure they will agree with a youtube muppet called jellyfishin
