  • I absolutely adore the quality, tone and color of the voice. The only problem that I have is not technical (maybe -- but I highly doubt it in your case). The part of death, I would much rather hear with a great deal more connected legato. Death, in most German poetry, is trying to seduce the maiden and not scare her. The stops in sound distract from the haunting quality that I personally prefer in German death. Prost!

  • I agree with countertenorj about the legato. I used to perform this at college recitals and Death I believe should be chilling and haunting, but seductive. Still what a gorgeous quality to the voice and a great performance!
