I didn't mention the price in the video because
1. Prices change all the time, I don't want the video to be outdated a month from now.
2. I bought this one for a steal off ebay used. Prices of used items really have no bearing on retail pricing.

Can that irritating noise be disabled?

@erikeharmon Unfortunately there is no way to disable the beep. It drives me nuts as well. So much so that I just open it at night, then lock it in the morning.

I've actually thought about opening up the electronics and just ripping out the speaker element.

Biometrics, will only get better over the next few years. Back before I was laid off, I installed biometric everything into peoples homes from security system to safes, to door locks. I really love the idea.

@Goindeff I dabbled in biometrics years ago, back then fingerprint scanners were very unreliable. In fact the ones on most laptops are still a PITA. I have to say the unit on this safe works much better than I expected it would.

Yes, there are 3 holes in the bottom, so you can bolt it down
