This one was posted before, as part of a 3 song grouping (WUE, Piano, Mountain) uploaded a couple weeks ago by someone else, but I fear this song was getting lost amidst the others and deserved a moment to stand alone. the ending is to die for.

  • This song tears me up inside. It's so incredibly violent and emotionally jolting at the same time, very pure. I just hope PJ keeps making music like this.

  • Yeah, if you listen to her entire body of work. She never makes anything less than an absolutely gorgeous/amazing song, never repeats herself, there is NO filler music, NO repetition, it's just all very very creative , original, REAL music. The only artist/s that come anywhere close to PJ , imo, is Radiohead.

  • crazy lyrics dude, I don't even wanna know how she came up with them

  • Hit her with a hammer

    Teeth smashed in

    Red tongue twitching

    Look inside her skeleton

    Ooo-ooo-ooh

Daddy's in the corner, rattling his keys

mommy's in the doorway, trying to leave

    HAUNTINGLY BEAUTIFUl LYRICS

  • @montecarlostar you just answered yourself

  • painstakingly beautiful.

  • Okay, I've read up on the song's meaning, am I the only person who thinks this song could have a REALLY morbid meaning?

  • why is it called the piano and it's the only song with no piano from this album??

  • @maynardminion For whatever reasons, I put "White Chalk" on the same wavelength as The Cure's "Faith". Minimalist music, maximum feeling.

    If that makes any sense…

  • @m13miles Buy the bloody CD mate, it's out in every record shop…

  • If you don't get shivers down your spine at the "nobody's listening" part, you are officially heartless.
