I am sad that Rip is gone, but I think that actually got the best death, aside from the Major, out of all the characters. She faced her fear of the devil himself, and Alucard honored her with a fighting chance. He could have just shot her, and he didn't need to absorb her, but he did. Her death was tragic, however, she received a glorious end, unlike some others (Maxwell, Zorin, Doc, Luke, etc)

@CrazyforCookies Could be. Hirano never really elaborated on exactly what was left of the souls Alucard was using, because they all seemed pretty mindless to me.
