Rod came to Franklin for his undergraduate degree before going to law school. Currently a practicing attorney and mayor of Obetz, Ohio, Rod found the classroom experience at Franklin to be highly interactive. The professors and the small classroom size combined allowed for a very personalized classroom experience. Franklin prepared Rod for law school by helping teach him to challenge conventional wisdom; this skill is one that Rod uses to this day. Franklin's affordability and reputation proved valuable in the workplace.
