bengal tigers often encounter packs of wild dogs, much more dangerous then those we have just seen in this clip, they say it takes 30-50 wild dogs too confront a full grown tiger, think about that....
that tiger just realized that it wasnt its normal prey maybe, or maybe it wasnt hungry, regardless it just didnt want to fight, they only fight when there territory is breached or they are hungry, in this case i dont think either was a factor, u c it when they pit them, those cruel fucks, cause the animals have no real reason to fight other then they are forced to, there is no premise for them otherwise..
Actually around those parts, people do sometimes lose dogs to tigers. I did hear this story once about a tiger who came to a farm and chased two of the resident dogs all the way through the snow for miles till the dogs collapsed from exhaustion and couldn't run anymore. Dogs have huge stamina, but a tigers paws work like snowshoes, and a dogs do not. So the tiger followed them at its leisure.
I think its not like a "Who gets chased off by whom". The Big-cat might've acted under surprise (it has feline genes too, you see). But if there was a real confrontation, there is no doubt in jumping batman's sake that the tiger would've whooped the dog's hiney to Endor. (and I hate star-wars)
Considering that siberian tigers are the biggest - that dog isn't all that small.
