DRS-1100 Driving Recording System

DRS-1100 from Global Transport Technologies is a system designed to record images of automobile accidents that may occur while driving.

The DRS-1100 records video, audio, and GPS data in the event of a sudden shock to your car or by yourself - manually.

Have a record of an accident, from your perspective, as documentation for future insurance litigation - also useful for recording your driving experiences.

It has a single camera with a 1.3 Megapixel CMOS sensor and an internal GPS module. The GPS data is used to connect to Google Maps to show the your driving path & also speed, etc.

If you keep it hidden behind the rear view mirror it's barely noticeable. I doubt thieves would know what it is.

It's not like a nice expensive sat nav sitting on the dashboard, it's barely noticeable.

I know one guy who had his recording when his car went into his local garage for a service - it showed the mechanics taking it out for a joy ride at speeds over 125mph - they didn't even know it was there!

When I get one I will hide the wires and hardware it into the ignition.

It is interesting but if you keep it mounted all the time the thiefs will break into your car. If you take it off and put it back on before starting isnt very good eider.

i have one of this camera, now only record because the gps is not working, am not able to see the speed and the map, how i can fix this problem, i download the installer , and when recording the date is 2006 01 01
