  • i love vray YAAAYYYYYYY

  • Jimmy Great Tut but you need to change the mic or boost up the rec volume... Thanks..

  • Oh! It's really powerfull effect - thank you CHAOSGROUP!!!!

  • can we download the scene???

  • How do you actually make the lamp itself?

  • but it makes sene so blurry...how can we fix it>>> moreover it dosen't work with vraylight material (bitmap)

  • @JerryTheSquid Thank you for the answer! :D I really hope it will be one day, I'm patient...however in the mean time I'll have to use some boring workarounds :(

  • wow.. amazing

  • Just amazing! May I know when will this be available for Maya??? :)

  • thats just great... when I pressed update effect it started to render all over again, fucking marvelous, another hour went in wain

  • @Shadoweaver Thanks for the heads up, hope they add it at some point soon, looks nice :)

  • @3dnutta Nope, these tools are not yet available in Maya

  • Is it possible to use these tools in Vray 2 for Maya as I can't seem to find out where?

    (Newly purchased Vray...)

  • is it possible to add this effect in just selected vray lights? why every time i close and open the file again the effect is changing?

  • Why when i press the "Update Effect" vray do all the render again to after that update the effect?

There are some limitation about light type? Can i use Photometric lights or should be Vray light?

  • @jabg2011 no no no, I'M sorry! lol! wtf? people saying sorry on youtube? this is the end of the world! lol! ; )

  • @bluetorch13 Yeah, that thought occurred to me after I posted, sorry.

  • @jabg2011 I'm sorry I didn't specify, this is 100 times better for Bloom and Glare, I still use photoshop for many other things.

  • @bluetorch13 They're different tools for different jobs. Most 3D artists make extensive use of Photoshop (or similar software) to create textures for their scenes.

  • Can you animate with this????

  • this is 100 times better than Photoshop, freaking loved it.

  • @realsoccerdude123 I believe this works just like MentalRay in the sense that it makes anything past a certain brightness glow. Use the camera lens effect in MR which comes with Max and you'll get the same result. It's not limited to lights, it works with any object which is bright. (self-illumination)

  • i've so been waiting for this.

everyone just said "use photoshop" but you dont get the Amount of the overexposure... its just white... love it

  • Hi i am a huge fan of Vray and ive been following your videos about vray2.0 on youtube.

Ive got a little doubt and ive been looking for its answer all over the internet.Ill be most happy if you solve my doubt about lens effect.

The question is can Vray lens effect be restricted to only 1 or 2 lights when we are working on big scene which has about 15 lights?

    thanks:)

  • just when I was thinking about migrating to Mental Ray due to the "Glare" feature, the Chaos Group revolutionizes again, making me go back to the friendly Vray!
