Alphabeat's newest addition to their set up is the Korg MicroSAMPLER. Guitar and Keyboard player Anders B told us; " We wanted to get the MicroSAMPLER because we thought it would be more fun if we could actually play the samples live and we thought that this was a magnificent thing for doing that, because it has a keyboard and is not inside a computer, so it's more hands on. So the plan is to take the samples from the hard drive and put them into the MicroSAMPLER."

Bass player Anders R is also using Korg in the form of the R3. Originally a Microkorg user Anders has moved on to the R3; "The R3 is great as it has full size keys. You can generate some great bass sounds, they are massive."

  • @mozrx It's because they're Danish. All Danish sound dumb when they're speaking English. If they haven't got a degree in higher English, then they have a really hard time describing what they do in English. I should know, I am Danish too!

  • You heard it here first: A song on their album has a stupid sort of "oooh" sound. So don't buy it.

  • Why do they act so dumb? Like they have no idea what they are doing.

  • Theyre all Anders in this band. 3 Anders. Pretty funny. God I hate Lady Gar Gar. She should be supporting Alphabeat. They're much better.
