  • @rocketmanbkk can i use wooden sticks instead of aluminium rods !???/

  • @koolboyameer : I would probably go with plastic like that of plastic chopsticks vs. wooden sticks. Something you can lube up to prevent from sticking. A very smooth hardwood dowel will probably work though. You will have to experiment to see.

  • Hello, would it be possible to make the fuel by mixing finely powdered KNO3 and sugar in 95% ethanol and squeezing the mix and then drying it, instead of cooking like here. I know that ethanol is also a fuel. So reducing the amount of sugar or using only ethanol with KNO3 is workable?

  • @xysum : Sorry I have no knowledge or experience with ethanol use.

  • can i use ammonium nitrate

  • @TheWisey1234 : Sorry I have no experience with ammonium nitrate.

    theres a mistake in the proportin ! :)

    see from 4:31

    potassium = 65%

    so 275 x .65 = 178.75 ! or u can say above 178 grams !

    but u said : above 278 grams !

    so,

    jst for a correction ! :)

  • @uberLejoe : Thanks bro! Just one last question, is the Potassium Nitrate readily available? like in a hardware or something?

  • @Dongskie2 its just potassium nitrate and glucose (sugar) corn syrup in his case, look it up on google and prepare it OUTSIDE and have water available at all times, it could ignite as you prepare it so wearing leather gloves is advised, and make sure people aren't around you.

  • :D that's awesome. i'm in Thailand too! i have a semi job (i do it more for helping out not so much job, i just happen to get paid), but i help teaching kids about science in English and Thai, this week i will be making a Apcp rocket for them, i make little study lessons for them and they love it!

  • Hi, can you please send me a private message with the list of ingredients, thanks

  • @rocketmanbkk Hey, I'm the same "tiagonyl". I really like your videos! I got the R-Candy using KClO3. It burns like yours, but I'm having some troubles with the nozzle. Please, contact me: tiagoedani.casagrande@gmail.com

    Thanks!

  • @TheWisey1234 You can, but be carefull when heating it. It's much more unstable than KNO3
