I saw the Gun Club in the early nineties and it was heartbreaking. Jeffrey Lee Pierce was in a really bad strate and the rest of the band looked like they'd rather be someplace else. He was SO out of it... he started insulting the audience for no reason at all and he blew all his lyrices... sad. Still, I'm a huge fan. I just wish I caught them at a better time.

I saw Jeffrey Lee, Patricia Morrison and Kid Congo Powers in Sydney with Spencer Jones and Billy Pommer Jr from The Johnnys filling in on guitar and drums in October '83. Those shows rocked!

Is true, it was heartbreaking the last time i saw him & cypress grove ´94 in Berlin. I had teardrops in my eyes while the concert since he had trouble to play guitar with his swollen fingers. We were not an huge audience but all huge fans. Jeffrey was really nice that night! I was even lucky enough to got to know and talk to him that night since i was working there, he was very kind, maybe just a bit sad. I´ve seen Gun Club often since ´83. One of my favorite bands! Jeffrey, we miss you! <3
