THE WAR must be fought undyingly. The whalers are "over-harvesting" on an industrial scale! They say Minke Whales (the primary Whales hunted by the japanese) are not endangered. But Whales are Whales. They're inoffensive to man and don't deserve this. Besides, the japanese are killing Minke and Fin Whales and Beaked Whales Sei Whales and Byrdes Whales... and most importantly, HUMPBACK Whales! Animals can too easily be pushed toward extinction. @mdmf007 Killing domesticated animals that are bred and raised SPECIFICALLY for harvest is distinctly different than harvesting wild animals that have the life span and reproductive cycles of human beings. These aren't tuna they're harvesting. These animals don't spawn by the hundreds every year. Jeez, it's a wonder some of you manage to cross the street everyday without getting plowed over by bicyclists.

What gets me about these protests is the blind eye we turn. We kill millions of chickens a day - hundreds of thousands of cows and you dont batt an eye. Was the chicken or cow any less alive than the whale? does the whale hae some inherent right to life the cow didnt?
