We did a flight with Zi8 and cockpit audio. Do a YouTube search for "therealjohunter" and you'll find a flight entitled " Austin to San Marcos ".

This video used cockpit audio as well as Zi8 video.

that Zi8 camera can be connected to the radios so u can hear everything u say....

@ffaller3 Yep you are correct. I even have the -20dB cable ready to go. On this flight I actually recorded the cockpit audio on my iRiver T30 mp3 player for post-production mix with music. I will try the Zi8 with "direct audio" on my next video flight.
