@madmonk There are 81 evidences in support of the book of mormon to date. That is stronger than the old testament today.

@LDS4Life71 My "what if" is perfectly logical because I base it on fact, not emotion. You still believe that your emotion (i.e. testimony) is more powerful than facts. This is why you can't produce any valid arguments. You produce these eloborate unfounded theories, and if one doesn't work you simply produce another. And as for the hall of records, has it been discovered yet? You base your comment on a myth. Show me the facts and maybe I'll reconsider.

@madmonk The hall of records will reveal the geneaolgies of the families and will include Lehi, Nephi, Laman and Lemuel and the rest. It will be a great blow to anti mormons world wide.
Your little what if is not logical.

@LDS4Life71 Well, if they find the Liahona, Sword of Laban, or writings containing several names in the Book of Mormon, then I'll reconsider my position with an open mind, but until then it's all speculation. (Note your verbiage above, "What if".)
Here's one: "what if" the church wasn't true? Ever consider that?

Total horse poo. ( not found ) along with all the farm animals mentioned in the book of mormon Just happens to be missing any mention of Mayans languages, architecture or flora & Fauna.
The book of mormon does not fit new world settings.
Unless captain Moroni ate wheat bread and lamb for dinner , wore roman style breast plate armour & steel swords, and rode a Tapir and chariot with no wheels.

@madmonk What about if they excavate and uncover from jungle the hall of records in Mirador?

@LDS4Life71 There is very little evidence to show that the Book of Mormon is true, and these videos do a great job of demonstrating that. I've been researching it for more than 6 years, and I grow tired of "implications" and inferences to the the church's claims, which don't stand up to scrutiny. These videos merely demonstrate that Joseph Smith knew a lot about the bible and the Middle East, and that he knew nothing about the Americas that wasn't already available during his lifetime.

@madmonk Actually the Book of Mormon says that there were multiple groups that lived in the Americas and not all of them Israelite. Stories in the BoM also imply that there were other groups of people present when Lehi and his family arrived. Besides, if you are Christian and believe that we all ultimately came from the same two parents, namely Adam and Eve, why is there a disparity between one human's DNA and anothers? Clearly there is more to this that you are considering.

Based on these videos, there's about as much evidence for Lord of the Rings being a true book as there is for the Book of Mormon.

(If Satan had to be 100% honest)
Hey at the end of the day, just deny deny deny!
Its a lot easier than discovery; it prompts no one to action; it keeps one in ignorance; it may stifle one's progress; it lacks any actual thought; it helps a person refrain from any pleasant feelings;
Deny it all, folks! That's the name of the game. Besides, if someone joins this Mormon church, I hear that they have to walk this straight and narrow and we all know that walking uprightly before God is not possible.
