Stewart Pedler and Colin 'l'il Col' Whitehead in St. Anton. The day started out being very miserable, no visibility at all, inching through the snow. Then, after everybody else had given up at the base of the gondola, I went up for a fast burn by myself, and met up with these gentlemen (and Karen, although she is not in this clip). Suddenly the cloud lifted, exposing beautifully snow-covered runs, including a smooth black. The light was still very flat, but we must have done that run about 10 times -because of the few inches of powder, we could trust the Force...the last few runs, I got Stewart and Li'l Col to do some cruising while I filmed them. The last bit of Stew was filmed slip-sliding backwards down the whole length of a black run - just an idea of how much Force I was engaging. Apparently we missed a cosy DVD with the 'duvet club', LOL...
Thanks man! I got severe 'foot-burn' for holding that edge for so long, but the powder was fresh and forgiving - no 'surprises'! :-)
