A classic contemporary Christian song by Wayne Watson, based upon Mordecai's words to Esther in Esther 4:14. It's an encouraging song that answers the question many of us often have: "Why am I here?" The answer is in the song: "To hear the voice of God, and do His will, whatever it is."

  • needed this one...thank you so much!

  • @pryncyss Yep, we all need to hear this message frequently. This song pops into my head when special moments happen while I am teaching Sunday School or leading AWANA and a child says or asks something that makes me think "that's what it's all about. That's why I'm doing this. That's why God put me here."

  • This song when I was little stuck to my mind and I couldn't ever forget it, and God has created it to be my hearts song. My life is not my own, my future is not my own but I realize that whatever place I am in life, whatever I'm going through "For such a time as this, I was placed upon the earth. To hear the voice of God and do his will whatever it is". Recalling that YES we are Chosen as Gods Ambassadors hear on earth. We are called to "for now and all the days he gives I am hear, and I am his"

  • @coolram1952 Unfortunately it is very hard to get people to see these false teachers, they are convince they are the real thing. Speaking of the word business comes to the worst of all problem with religion is that churches are just that; business. Religion is no longer about God or salvation or any of that goodness, it is about money, corruption, lies and deceit and worst of all the rapes of innocent children.

  • @orlandobabe Yes, the people you describe do exist. And we knew they would. It was all prophesied in the Bible. So they are no surprise. But, no, they have not changed any of the promises of the Bible. They are powerless against the Almighty. Believers need to hold fast to the truth and ignore the rantings of these false teachers. And, no, it's not all a joke now. It is very serious business, always has been, always will be.

  • @coolram1952 No, no, no, I am talking about the people, the people who claim they are doing all the work of God and Jesus when really they are not. And practice of Christ are not fully practiced and when they are they become power hunger monster who start murderous and sexual violent cults. We human beings are screwing everything up all in the name of you know Who. Atheist against belivers and vise versa, it is all a joke now.

  • @orlandobabe No, I *don't* excuse you for saying that. You could have used a different word. Anyway, your premise is wrong, all of the promises in the Bible are still intact despite anything we have done to "mess it up". It's called "God's grace". And, yes, it still is "simple"; as Acts 16:31 says, "Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved". Doesn't get much simpler than that. If you read the whole Bible and only remember one verse, that one would be a good one to remember.

  • I wish things could be so simple when it comes to God and religion but too many people have...excuse me for saying this; fucked it all up for everyone.

  • Awesome! Very encouraging and uplifting. This song has lifted my spirit, thank you!

  • Great voice and anointing! Thank You Lord, for this vessel and song!
