Bought a Byer Moskito with the built in net off Amazon for $35 shipped. Took it out this weekend on a day hike and it is great for the money. I use doubled over 550 cord for my lines at this point but think I’d like to go to webbing and some D-rings for easier adjustment.

sorry but there's only one truly great hammock manufacturer, ticket o the moon dot come minus that E. They sell from Bali in Indonesia. However it doesn't come with all the plastic wrapping, which makes it even better! convince yourself, by looking carefully at the website Ticket to The Moon. Happy hammocking! BTW there are some fr*ing copycat products at half the price, those are more suitable for single time use. just a thought...

i own this exact same hammock (orange and grey) and HATE it... it is tiny, and those cords get tangled sooo easily. i will soon be switching to an ENO doublenest. ENO hammocks are made longer, so they do not have those different length cords. the two ends have a carabiner running through them, and that is what attaches to your straps.

I’ve watched a few of your vids in the past and today have been listening to a few at work instead of listening to music. I like some average Joe reviews and opinions and your vids have been great for that. Thanks!

Good video, but the person holding the camera needs to get a tripod and stop shaking all over the place

@trailgear555 they are pretty good i have one but with that hammock you can only sleep out doors in good weather. but if you are a a heavy hammock camper like me i should get a hammock like the G.I jungle hammock that you can find at campmor.com thanks!!!

I have an ENO double nest, it is a parachute fabric Brazilian style hammock but it lacks rope runners on the ends on this one, nothing to tangle.
I love it, stuff into its own sack that is sewn on.

Hahah Brazilian style? Good zing

lol good luck with that you get some nasty weather up there :D
The Byer Amazona hammocks are great, I have a few. They are a brazilian sytle hammock which means you lay on a slight diagonal. This allows you to lay with your back straight for better sleeping. They also make a model called the Moskito which has built in bug netting. For the low price, you can't beat this hammock.

I actually have one of these hammocks but haven't gotten to use it yet. Now i know i need some rope to attach it to the trees. Thats a good idea to stuff it in the sack instead of trying to roll it on the ground to pack it up. I thought i was gonna have to get it all dirty to roll it up.
