Just a note to everyone here: As a trader i will be honest with you, no one in the media seems to understand what the hell is going on. Either that or they are lying.

When they tell you to 'stay calm' as an investor and suggest that now is the time to buy because prices are low - they are lying to you.

They're likely trying to short sell and need buyers.

Also, most traders on television are on television BECAUSE they're not good traders. Think about it.

1) Bill Clinton's economy? He doesnt have control over the country's finances. We are not a monarchy.

2) There was never a surplus, that is a myth unfortunately. If you look at the national debt in the 90s, it never once decreased, meaning there was no real surplus. When Clinton said there was a surplus he wasnt counting 'all' public expenses.

3) The republican controlled house was responsible for the decrease in the deficit, not Clinton for reasons stated in #1.

4) Reps/Dems = BS
