@ruga666 What handgunlover didn't say was, we now have to warm up before hand, if we don't stiff legs for a few days. 36 and still skating. Love it.

The good news is, this album is available on iTunes. GREAT album, too! I started skating in '86. I kept all my old decks and now that my knees are bad and I am VERY out of shape, the half pipe are all I can ride. That being said, a worn tail does not keep one from riding a pipe. So I took down my Schmitt Stix Steve Douglas and that is what I ride. The younger guys have a lot of respect for the old stick and my stubborn, old style.

@TheEvildigits I totally understand that rush of memories and emotions, this song and thinking back gives me shivers down my spine and just so filled with love, sadness, longing and thankfulness at the same time. It really is something, it's like the best relationship I ever had, it wasn't with a girl it was with my skateboard. I am happy that you and the rest watching this have the same nice memories, feelings only a skateboarder can understand.

@M3sslah That DID make me cry. I just turned 37, and what a rush of memories. Best years of my life. I imagine if I live to be 90, I'll still be able to point out a dope ledge, or curb-cut. SK8R4LIFE.

@M3sslah that almost made me cry man
This is so heartbreaking, so many memories with friends, so many summers on the skateboard, I feel sorry for everyone who missed this awesome sport/craft. And this movie, oh my god I watched it pretty much everyday, the skaters, the music. Goddamn I wish I could go back to when life was easy, just me and the board and the ground beneath and the sun above.

My nephew is 14 and skates. I try to explain this era to him all the time. My Hokus Pokus copy was a dub of a dub ect. lol. We were blown away when we saw it just as the Shackle video did the same. I'm 37 and still skating. Every session is just as fun as it always was and I love chasing the old memories. I hope the younger generation appreciates what they have today in all this commercial marketing. Keep it real and skate hard.
