    This is true.

    But I would also counter that watching a vid on youtube of a crappy little jazz ensemble doesn't reflect the quality of the school, it's faculty, even of the musicians on this very stage. Berklee is like any other school - you get back what you put in, except Berklee takes a little extra cash. :(

  • ya true statement about the money and talent thing. but i go to berklee right, i am a guitar player...actually the guy on sax is my ensemble teacher. but thing is im not a great jazz player....at all....and i wanted to take a jazz ensemble to get better at that. just cuz these people may not scream "BERKLEE JAZZ"....doesnt mean that they dont play other genres of music that they are probably most definitely more proficient at
