@phjehan97 They have something against Christopher Nolan, i do not know what it is...but lets see what happens in OscARS 2013.....The Dark Knight Rises hopefully if its as good as The Dark Knight could be the 1st comic book movie nominated for Best Picture.....h should have been nominated for Inception though!

I remember this.alot..I mean ALOT of people were outraged when The Dark Knight was not nominated for best movie, that was the year they desperately needed The Dark Knight to be nominated...year before it was the lowest rated oscars ever...because of that, this was the second lowest ever.Avatar being nominated the year after showed the ratings go up. But 10 movies is too much,but now it will be anywhere from 5-10 so they finally got it right,but Dark Knight should have been there, not the reader!

i have the feeling that they don't select the best animated feature, they just take all animated features, which came out in that year, and then they take the one which brought the most money

I'm glad Angelina got a nomination for her wonderful performance in Changeling. But she was also snubbed for her best work in A Mighty Heart and Playing By Heart.
