The gardens have the only surviving ridge and furrow field system in the city. In earlier times the fields there were used for pasture and it has been an orchard. One of the two ponds may have been for drainage, in connection with the ridge and furrow.

I prefer the sears 56 inch Yellow tractor it cuts like a dream. John deer cuts unevenly.. a bit...

@Dorisequador the problem with allot of sears tractors no days the steering in them get real loose after about 2 or 3 years of use.
