  • @Sentinel2k1 Can't forget Malik B either. He also ripped it on Illadelph

  • damn I never knew Questlove was so wise, Illadelph Halflife was their best album in my opinion I'm not a fan of the roots but that album made me a fan of Black Thought, very impressive mic' skills the others just don't do it for me there to "soft" in my opinion

  • people buy into lifestyles though it feels like your supporting a movement wen your music has a lifestyle you connect more with your fans, im not sure if people are bicariously living through artist or jus living a similar lifestyle on a different probably smaller level

  • ...ever.

  • @namkooc he never said that their 10 records were timeless.

  • i love the roots to death but couple of there records are questionable so no absolutly not 10 classic timless records like quest said

  • king chyldz dontplay spreading love its the brooklyn way

  • Nevermind I know the song ^o^

  • Whats the song in the beggining?

  • I wish Questlove would make life choices for me... he seems incredibly wise! lol

I like how he sounds like every weed dealer I've ever known... "This is quality shit right here..."

If you think about it, if any other artist said something like that, you'd groan and call them pretentious. But with the Roots, they actually have like 10 quality records to prove it! Modesty is fine but you gotta rep your shit.
